Autumn – an early childhood educational adventure: Note 1

Kindliche Freude am Herbst draußen in der Natur

Childlike joy in autumn

Golden autumn has come, you happy children!
The leaves are already falling all over the country!
Little chestnuts lie shining,
there are so many, you can hardly count them!

Autumn sings us a colorful song,
the wind gently sways the branches!
A wonderful carpet lies on the floor,
the leaves rustle happily at us!

The leaves look beautiful in an autumn bouquet.
Chestnuts, pine cones – in the bag for luck!
It’s time for tea and a warm blanket.
Just look, it’s raining outside again!

Autumn sings us a colorful song,
the wind gently sways the branches!
A wonderful carpet lies on the floor,
the leaves rustle happily at us!

A (life) gift. A new autumn is coming. An open-air exhibition in nature opens. An invitation to explore it.

Magnificent colors, great lights and shapes, trees and earth decorated with natural treasures. Beauty. Extremely impressive. A delight for the eye. A close-up feast for the senses of sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste, especially for the unclouded senses of young children.

Autumn – time of change, wonder and abundance. Time of growth. Season for exploration and discoveries.

Time to carefully accompany and encourage children’s joy and enthusiasm for new and newly perceived wonders in the nature. Time to celebrate and honor the uniqueness and diversity of children’s perceptions and verbal expressions.

  • „We’re going out to collect leaves and chestnuts. I’m happy! Today is a beautiful day!“ (4-year-old child)
  • „The sun is smiling!“ (2-year-old child)
  • „The wind sings loudly!“ (3-year-old child)
  • „The sun and the clouds are playing hide-and-seek!“ (4-year-old child)
  • „Look, the leaves are clapping. Can you hear them?“ (4-year-old child)
  • „The sun tickles my eyes when I look at it!“ (3-year-old child)
  • „Do you hear the rain music?“ (3-year-old child)
  • „The leaves are glittering!“ (4-year-old child)
  • „Do you hear the song of our puddle music?“ (5-year-old child)
  • „Look. The trees are naked!“ (2-year-old child)
  • „When the trees no longer have leaves, we can see the bird’s nest in the tree better!“ (5-year-old child)

Simply continue to learn together with and from children to marvel at the natural world that surrounds us with open, unclouded senses, to recognize beauty, to find joy in the little things... „More!“ and „More!“

The magic of children’s developing personalities meets autumn magic – can be experienced every day in every facility for early childcare and education!
